  • LASEK/PRK

     

    Laser eye correction on the eye surface after entegumentary cells removal (epithelium). This is the method of choice in special cases with high strength of diopters or thin cornea. This method is appropriate for martial arts sportsmen. In most cases anesthetic drugs are necessary for the first night after the surgery. Full eyesight correction can be observed in a week. The quality of eyesight is the same as after LASIK / Femto-LASIK surgeries.

Excimer laser Schwind Amaris 750s

In case of LASIK, Femto-LASIK and LASEK/PRK laser eye surgeries the excimer Schwind AMARIS 750s laser provides the following advantages:

It is one of the fastest lasers with 750 impulse frequency per second that provide carrying out medical manipulations in several seconds with low frequency of complications.

Online pachymetry allows for non-contact cornea thickness measurement during treatment by the OCT (optical coherence tomography) method and thus to increase safety of treatment.

Active 6-dimensional eye monitoring: scanner / system of eye monitoring controls exact position of eyes more than 1,000 times per second so the laser can operate with the maximum accuracy, even in case of eye movement. The movements to different sides (axis x), up / down (axis y) and forward / back (axis z), and also a deviation to the sides, up / down and cyclic rotation (rotation of an eyeball) are registered. Correction of cyclic rotation is especially important in case of correction of astigmatism, otherwise rotary motions of an eye in lying position can seriously affect the result. Traditional devices are slower and also don't consider cyclic rotation.

Very small spot size of 0,54 mm together with a supergaussian profile of a bunch (FWHM - full width half maximum) provides especially even and tissue preserving treatment in case of optimum optical properties also at night at the same time.

Intelligent Thermal Effect Control - ITEC: this difficult, thermally optimized medical process preserves cornea tissues even at very high speed of operation. Laser impulses are classified in time and space so that the subsequent impulses could move quicker and closer to a position of earlier provided laser impulses by means of shorter period of cooling. As a result, the procedure accuracy considerably increases, and desirable correction is carried out most precisely.

Ziemer Femto LDV Crystal Line

IN order to prepare the flap in case of Femto-LASIK surgery Ziemer Femto LDV Crystal Line is used. This device is the latest in its class and combines the following advantages:
